Just outside the Harmony’s back door! This beach is a 6 kilometer expanse of white sand that stretches between Punta Pelada and Punta Guiones. It is the best surf spot in Nosara, offering consistent waves year round with long left and right beach breaks. Like at most surfing beaches, there are occasional riptides, swimmers should be cautious.

Reserva Biológica Nosara is a private nature reserve extending about 50 ha (125 acres) along the Nosara River. It is home to various species of plants, mangroves and wildlife. Many different birds, such as seabirds, herons, waders, and others, that altogether form more than 270 species, can be found. You can also see some other animals, such as monkeys, coati, raccoons, armadillos, snakes, anteaters, crabs and reptiles. This is the perfect place for hiking through mangroves and forests, for watching birds and other animals or for relaxing in the shadows of the trees.

After this amazing tour you can enjoy a delicious breakfast at Lagarta Lodge Restaurant. Set on a hill about 40 meters above sea level, it offers a magnificent view of the coastline of Ostional, the mountains, the river mouth of the Rio Nosara and over the forest, which belongs to the Reserva Biológica Nosara.
