¿Did you know that every year more than 15 million hectares of primary forest disappear, and that 80% of all the primary forest on Earth has already disappeared? At the same time, 12% of all forests have lost part of their biological value in the last 30 years. This amount is equivalent to losing a forest the size of a football field every two seconds! And what about the 137 species of wildlife that disappear each day due to tropical deforestation?

It would be an honor for our community that you participate in our Plant a Tree Program, thus contributing to the conservation of the environment through our reforestation project.

It’s Simple

Join our reforestation project and, along with our gardening staff you will plant your own tree. Your tree will be an endemic specie that will contribute to the conservation of the environment and the biological balance of the area.

Here’s How It Works

Sign up at the Front Desk paying a $15 USD fee for our Plant a Tree Program. You will immediately be set up for an appointment with one of our gardeners to go plant your tree in the specific MINAE designated area in the vicinity of the Harmony Hotel. We, the Harmony, commit in turn to take care of these trees with the objective of contributing to the conservation of our forests.

* If a reservation is cancelled the same day or less than 24 hours in advance, the tour will be charged 50%.
