We invite all our guests to learn about all of our green practices in our Sustainability Tour were we will explain you the focus of our operation. As an eco-oriented hotel we are part of the CST (Costa Rican Sustainable Certification) which certificates hotels according to their practices. This program focuses on 4 different environments: the physical-biological, the infrastructure, the guests and the socioeconomic structure.

As part of this tour you will get to know our permaculture philosophy and practice, grey water system, landscape design, use of bio-compatible products, our recycling practices and waste management which ends up in organic compost for our gardens, community building and involvement in different programs such as Blue Falgg, local purchases, voluntary donations, the Howler Monkey project, beach clean ups, and many other projects and practices developed by the hotel, its staff and community members.

This tour will also give you the opportunity of knowing the different areas of the hotel and spend some time with our staff, who will also explain you our processes and practices.

We hope that by cultivating an awareness of our role in the local ecology and community we can demonstrate all of our guests that we can work with nature, rather than against it, fostering a deeply satisfying sense of life in harmony for our guests.
