Music has always been close to our hearts at Harmony — it’s one of our favorite ways to explore, express, and have fun together. That passion inspired us to build our very own recording studio at the hotel, so our friends and other music lovers could be inspired and capture their sound in the perfect setting.
Housed in a newly renovated bungalow in a quiet corner of the property, the Harmony Recording Studio is surrounded by nature and just a short walk from the beach. Waves, howler monkeys, and native birds are the background sounds here. We collaborated with music industry professionals to design the control room and adjoining vocal booth to meet the strictest acoustical standards, and then stocked the space with the finest gear. This commitment to quality landed us on Mix Magazine's Class of 2025 list, which recognizes the best new studios in the world.

Available for daily rental, the Harmony Recording Studio is an ideal haven for production, songwriting, tracking vocals/instruments and mixing for the solo artist, producer or small band that wants to get away and record while reveling in nature, surf, and our creative community.
Whether you’re staying with us at the hotel or elsewhere in town, you’ll have easy access to Harmony’s amenities, including our pool, restaurant, Healing Centre and Juice Bar. We’ve already had a few talented friends drop by to play in the new space, and we’re excited to share it with you too. Isabel Allende's novel follows two refugees from the Spanish Civil War, whose mock marriage as they flee to Chile gradually deepens into real love, set against a backdrop of war and upheaval.
Isabel Allende is one of my favorite authors. Ever since reading her short story, Walimai, I have appreciated many of her works. This story is a real human tale and covers the life of a man who lived through the Spanish revolution, took refuge in Chile, and experienced yet again an uprising when Pinochet came into power. The man suffered physically and overcame hardship to become a recognized heart surgeon. He does not marry out of love but does experience deep deep love. It is the story of a long life and all of the twists and turns.
